The other weekend while we were celebrating Pirates and Wenches, I snapped this group of photos of our little guy. I had captured several photos of our girl in her costume and I wanted to be sure to record our littlest family member's first Pirates and Wenches weekend.
He had been napping inside when I scooped him up and laid him down in a shady spot outdoors.
In this case, you can see that I didn't move him at all or change his position. I just plopped him down on a blanket, let him get comfortable, and then I moved around him with my camera while I clicked away.
It was a beautiful summer day and I think he really enjoyed the breezes offered in our shady spot. I was happy to grab a few more shots of our little guy.
Funny thing is I always feel this sense of accomplishment each time I take more photos of our family. Here I have a gazillion images of my kiddos, but I'm intensely motivated to take more. I know these are special times and this is my way to hold on to these moments.
