Once again, I'm excited to be linking up with a group of photographers from all over the world on a new project we're calling "Quotes Come Alive." Each month, a new quote will be chosen and I'll have the opportunity to post a photo that best represents that quote to me. Please stop by on the 15th of every month to see the new quote and photo.
I have always been blown away by Maya Angelou's eloquence. I've loved her books and poems since I was in high school. I was fortunate enough to see her speak at the University of Maryland while I was a college student. A couple of years later, I quickly bought tickets when the opportunity came up to see her again at the Meyerhoff here in Baltimore. When I read this month's quote for this project, the above image immediately came to mind. Every time I look at it, it reminds me to slow down and live in the moment. To jump in with both feet and enjoy the moment in front of me.
Please head over to Holly Crouse's Photography website to see her interpretation of this month's quote and then continue around the circle!
